New digs, all set to go!

Central Highlands Chinese Medicine is now located inside the Rex Arcade. Shop 17 is part of what is quite possibly the COOLEST address in Daylesford at the moment. We’re part of a group of amazing, independent small businesses, surrounded by the art of David Bromley in the gallery and a community owned movie theatre. A visit to the arcade is an outing and you will find wonder and joy in our collective space.

The Differences

We still have 2 treatment rooms, but prefer to see one patient at a time and leave the second room available for walk-ins. That way you can always find a spot.

Massage therapy available

We now have 3 different lengths of Therapeutic Oriental style massage available. Massage starts at 15 minutes in the chair, seated for neck and shoulders, half an hour on the table for relief from acute injuries, soreness or stress, and a full hour luxe package. If you want to book, it’s best to call o text or drop in rather than booking online so we can dedicate the whole time to your treatment.

Open Herbal Medicine Dispensary

An open herbal medicine dispensary is like an open kitchen, and lets you observe your herbal formula being created and offers you time to ask questions and get to know the herbs you are using for medicine in more detail.

Herbal Teas

A new retail line of seasonal and system targeting herbal teas are available for you to purchase, either as singles or in gift packs of 2 or 3.

HICAPS is now available

For your convenience, we have re-started access to HICAPS which means that if you’re covered by health insurance for acupuncture, you can claim on the spot. Check with your fund to find out.

No More Community Acupuncture

Community Acupuncture sessions are no longer available because we prefer to dedicate more time to individual consultations and implement more clinical tools to more efficiently address your health complaints. If you really need services at a reduced rate and have a valid concession card, please talk about it before you begin your treatment plan. We will try to accommodate where possible.
